Kerry's Running Mate

It occurred to me this morning, that there might be genius at work in Kerry's not having named a running mate just yet. The longer he is able to hold off his public selection, the less time and opportunity (read: preparation) the Bushies have to attack the running mate. No doubt whomever Kerry selects, Karl Rove and his corps of political graffiti artists will find a way as possible to distort and misrepresent as many facts as possible. But if there is one factor in the race that Kerry can control -- unlike the events in Iraq or the economy -- it is the naming of his ticket mate.
