Afghan Girl Leaves Tokyo Hospital, Bullet Removed From Head

TOKYO — An Afghan girl, aged about 13, left a Tokyo hospital Friday where she had a successful operation to remove a bullet from her head.
"The terrible headache is gone. Thank you very much," Fatema Safar, who had suffered headaches and blindness in her left eye, said in a news conference. "I want to go to school when I go back to Afghanistan." (Kyodo News)
